About Coral Hill Bungalows
The Story of Coral Hill Bungalows:
A search for paradise
Coral Hill Bungalows was established in 2008 by Joe and Chris, a couple from the U.S. who came to Costa Rica in 2006 looking to escape their hectic lifestyle and find their piece of tranquil paradise that only can be found along the Caribbean coast.
They found that slice of paradise in the village of Cahuita, Costa Rica.
Over the next two years, they lovingly built the three cabinas using the finest local hardwoods, built by the finest craftsmen allowing high quality in a rustic setting. Their many years in the hospitality and travel industry allowed them to offer a unique and memorable experience for their guests. One that they would never forget.
After ten years of creating and cultivating this paradise for their guests, Joe and Chris decided to begin a new chapter in their lives and passed on all of their knowledge and expertise to the new owners, Steve and Julie Willis. Just like Joe and Chris in the past, Steve and Julie, too, came to Costa Rica in search of their corner of paradise. Steve is a business owner and Julie has been in the healthcare field since 1981. Her client skills and attention to detail will bring a comfortable feel to your vacation. We live on the property, so we are there to ensure all is well.
We do all that we can to assist you in making your time here one that you will always remember. Welcome!
We have a married couple here who have been with Coral Hill Bungalows for many years. They are familiar with all aspects of our operation and are dedicated to making it the best it can be. Benjamin is a native BriBri Indian and is very knowledgeable in regards to the local flora and fauna. Ligia, his wife, is wonderful and hard-working. Her attention to detail and her enthusiasm is always there and shows in all she does.
